featuring artists who have joined as Museum members over the past year.

Those artists include Brent Cobb, Chris Janson, and Corey Smith!

Membership purchases and ticket proceeds from this show benefit

Nashville Cats: A Salute to Legendary Guitarist Mac Gayden 

Saturday, November 16 • 1:30 p.m. 

Inspired by the blues and soul music he heard growing up in Music City, innovative musician and producer Mac Gayden played guitar on and co-wrote the 1960s R&B classics "Everlasting Love" (Robert Knight) and "She Shot a Hole in My Soul" (Clifford Curry). As a guitarist, he is famous for his innovative wah-wah style-using the pedal in conjunction with a slide to elongate notes-as showcased on J.J. Cale's "Crazy Mama" and Gayden's original "Morning Glory." He also appears on Bob Dylan's groundbreaking album Blonde on Blonde, and on recordings by Kris Kristofferson, Dolly Parton, Elvis Presley, Charley Pride, Linda Ronstadt, and Simon & Garfunkel.
