Grand Master Fiddler Champtionship

Grand Master Fiddler Championship

Grand Master Fiddler Championship to be Held at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum Friday, August 30 – Saturday, August 31

The Grand Master Fiddler Championship, with the aim of recognizing the top fiddler in North America, was originally held in conjunction with CMA’s Fan Fair from 1972 to 1997 and then was revived in 2005 to coincide with the IBMA’s annual bluegrass Fan Fest. This marks the first time that the contest will be hosted by the Museum. Competition rounds will take place on both days, interspersed with performances by renowned old-time and bluegrass musicians. The winning Grand Master Fiddler Champion will perform on the Grand Ole Opry Saturday evening. Learn More:
